Version 1.0 -- April 30, 1993
[Copyright 1993, JP Software Inc., All Rights Reserved. Published by
JP Software Inc., P.O. Box 1470, E. Arlington, MA 02174 USA, (617)

NT is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Other product and company
names are trademarks of their respective owners.]
[PLEASE NOTE: This product is named "4DOS", and this version is more
fully described as "4DOS for the Windows NT Operating System". For
brevity, in this file and throughout our documentation we refer to
"4DOS for Windows NT", to "4DOS/NT", or to the program file name,
4NT.EXE or 4NT. When "4DOS" is used by itself the reference is to our
DOS product. See ORDERINF.DOC for information on 4DOS, 4OS2, and all
JP Software products.]
This file provides information for bulletin board sysops on the
distribution of 4DOS for Windows NT via BBS systems.
We do explicitly permit uploads of the shareware version of 4DOS for
Windows NT to BBS systems. (Obviously uploads of the registered
version are not permitted).
If your BBS is associated with a shareware library which distributes
disks for a fee, you must meet our requirements BEFORE placing 4DOS
for Windows NT in the library. See the file VENDOR.DOC for details.
This restriction does not affect your permission to place 4DOS for
Windows NT on the BBS as long as you are not charging a fee for its
distribution (other than the usual user fees for general use of the
board).
If you want software which will allow you to "brand" 4DOS for Windows
NT for your BBS (when the user starts the program it will say
"uploaded to [your BBS name]" in the signon message), please contact
us.
